Capitaland Limited
CapitaLand is one of Asia’s largest real estate companies. It is listed and headquartered in Singapore, with worldwide interests, but focused on the core markets of China and Singapore.
The company’s diversified real estate portfolio comprises mainly residences, offices, shopping malls, serviced apartments and mixed developments. The company also has one of the largest real estate fund management businesses with assets in Asia and Australia.
Its most recent launch in 2023 will be for J’den mixed development, that will have a residential component, the J’den condo. This is a redevelopment of J’Cube at Jurong Gateway in the Jurong Lake District. The J’den condo will sit on top of a commercial retail podium comprising two levels of retail space. This will be linked via an elevated sheltered walkway, J-Walk, to Jurong East MRT station and surrounding buildings. The preview for the J’den showflat will likely be in end 2023, or early 2024.
Shimizu Corporation
Shimizu, established in 1804, is a leading architectural, engineering and general contracting firm, offering integrated planning, design and building solutions for a wide range of construction and engineering projects worldwide. It has annual sales of approximately US $14 billion and has been widely recognized as one of the top 5 contractors in Japan and among the top 20 in the world.
The Singapore Office of Shimizu Corporation launched its operations in 1973 and has built several projects since, including Ngee Ann City, Republic Plaza and Heeren Building.
Mitsubishi Estate Asia
Mitsubishi Estate Asia is part of the The Mitsubishi Estate Group that has worked to establish an excellent overseas asset portfolio, primarily in New York, London, Singapore, China, and Vietnam. Its Singapore office was established in 2008. It focuses on developing office, retail and residential property, drawing on its competencies and network nurtured through its international experience since the establishment of its New York branch in 1972.
